It was just recently that the honor brand, a subsidiary of a Huawei, revealed its plans of a wearable – specifically the honor Band Zero – that is set to appear in Q4 2015. All the details, including the user interface, were confirmed during the honor 7 global launch.
Through this reveal, honor announced of its plans to release this new smartwatch without an official name. The reason – to give fans the chance to name the device as an exclusive event that was introduced when the wearable appeared on stage.
The winner of this contest will receive selected honor products until 2020.
In terms of functions, honor shared that this wearable will keep track of steps, length and quality of sleep, and call/message notification integration. Powering them all is a battery that, supposedly, can last for three days. honor, to provide a truly robust protection, also made sure this smartwatch has a IP68 rated water resistance.
For the time being, there are no launch details for Malaysia or the rest of the world besides the tentative European release information that honor released.
